2002 ASTEC 6x 12 Twin Shaft Pugmill (model Tsm-t650l / Sn# 011891503) The Twin Shaft Mixer Is Designed To Mix Aggregate And Hydrated Lime. The Mixer Has A Mixing Zone 72" Wide X 10-10" Long And Maximum Capacity Of 600 Tph Using 38tf The 177 Cubic Feet Live Zone. The Unit Is Equipped With A Screw-type Paddle Arrangement Mounted On Two (2) Timed Shafts To Provide Proper Mixing Of The Materials. The Bolt-on Ni-hard Tips And Shanks Allow The Removal Or Relocation Of The Paddles To Alter The Mixing Action. The Shafts Are Made With 6" Square 1045 Hr Steel Turned On The Ends To Mount In 4-15/16" Bore Pillow Block Bearings. Shaft Seals Are Mounted At Each End Of The Pugmill To Prevent Leakage. The Bottom Curved Surface Of The Mixer Are Lined With Bolt-in Liners Of Cast Ni-hard 1" Thick. The Discharge Is Lined With 3/8" X 3/8" Super Clad Material. The Pugmill Is Powered By Two (2) 40 Hp Motors Driving Through Shaft Mounted Reducers.
